This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Technology is becoming an integral part of our day, between listening to reading stations, practicing math skills on ST Math, to advancing through Lexia levels! I want to provide my students with more classroom accessories to support technology integration further.
With the addition of 1:1 headphones and white board set, students will be able to fully immerse in their online learning programs, while simultaneously practicing these skills in real time.
My vision is to encourage students to grab a white board and marker set at the beginning of laptop stations each day, so that they are able to transfer the knowledge practiced in the program onto their whiteboard. Whether that's drawing a picture to support their mathematical thinking, or writing the high frequency words they're practicing on Lexia, I believe the addition of these tools could lend to an even deeper connection with these programs.
