This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 3rd-grade students are bright, energetic, and full of life! They come from many beautiful cultures and speak different languages! My students are resilient and work hard daily!

This class is sweet, hard working, and happy to be at school!

They love learning and persevere through challenges! As we say in class we are "growing our brains!"

My Project

My students are eager to learn cursive handwriting and I am hopeful that this explicit and systematic instruction will help them become more fluent in their daily writing. As we learn cursive, we will be connecting it to the phonograms we are learning during our foundational reading skills literacy block to become even better readers and spellers!

Students will learn the correct way to form letters and become more fluent in their handwriting, allowing them to write with more ease.

This is so important as they are building their stamina in writing! This curriculum helps students learn with explicit and kid-friendly directions! Once they master the single letters it builds to words, sentences, and even paragraphs! We can't wait to improve our handwriting!
