Connecting Circuits Equals STEAM Learners

Help me give my students a rewarding STEAM experience! Through Chibitronics, my students can learn to code simple circuits. We will begin with battery-operated circuits and build up to coding our own unique designs using the Chibichip.

My Students

I am so excited to meet my students for the first time, even if it's digitally! These children are a part of an incredible school community with dedicated leadership, teachers, and families. They have not had an art teacher for quite some time, so I can't wait to see their creativity shine!

My Project

This summer, I was fortunate enough to participate in Pathfinders Summer Institute. This experience inspired me to create this project!

STEAM classrooms are all the buzz these days, and every student deserves this opportunity to combine multiple disciplines.

Through this project, students will explore how simple circuits work using copper tape, 3V batteries, and LED sticker lights. From there, they will begin simple block coding using the Chibichips.

Chibitronics combines the best of coding and the arts to empower my students to create unique projects showcasing their creativity. They will use critical-thinking skills and collaborate to design circuits and merge papercraft with engineering.

This project provides my students with exciting new materials that combine all the elements of STEAM. I feel confident that they will be truly inspired and motivated in their learning through Chibitronics Circuits.
