This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
C P students are from a diverse, poverty population. They are hard-working and enthusiastic about learning. Every day they come to school despite their hardships and engage in rigor instruction. Our students take pride in our school. We are their extended family and they count us to educate and guide them every day. We have a large group of immigrant students. they are in our classrooms with little or no English skills. Despite their struggles, we perform at Level 1 according to the State's accountability.
My Project
C P school is located in Ma. Our diverse population is made up of 96% free-reduced lunch students In the past few months, we have a variety of immigrant students with little or no English skills entering our classrooms. I am looking to provide some learning tools to help our students create 21st-century skills and enrich developing their language skills.
The iPads will provide our ELL students the opportunity to develop language and reading skills that can be individualized for their needs.
The iPads will be an additional tool to help further impact these skills. The effects these devices have on English language learners, the experiences of the students and teachers using iPads demonstrate the devices' potential to enrich, enhance, and extend ELL instruction beyond the boundaries of the traditional classroom environment.
