My Students
Every one of my students are unique. I work in the Special Education department and although they take a longer time to grasp certain projects, they are always trying harder than most. A few words of encouragement and they push through the many obstacles that they are facing.
I enjoy being their teacher and exposing them to new ideas and letting them know that no matter how people label them, they have the power to excel in whatever they put their minds to!
My Project
Children are capable of anything if you give them the right tools. The Apple Watch would be used for my students who suffer from emotional disabilities and have to take medication, as well as participate in sensory exercises. It will be their timer and reminder for exercises and medication. We will then use the Fire tablet and headphones for one on one interventions using educational sites such as Read Theory and Study Island. My students could benefit from these products and it would make a huge difference in my classroom! Help me make a difference by providing the necessary tools!
