My students are always excited to go to keyboard class, but the class only lasts for 35 minutes. I want to create a technology station in our classroom where they can use the computer to research different articles while using context clues in the classroom. They love when I hide clues around the classroom and they have to get online and search the phrases to find out what the answers are. They will work in teams and use the Apple watch and Chromebook funded from this protect to continue learning. Also, the technology center will be a timed learned station where they can track their own time with the watch provided. This center will be strictly used to help the children with learning how to use the computer to find resources and research purposes. They will print there results and pass it to the next team to research and print. They will use the watch to time their classmates! Technology rules the world and I want to better prepare my students for the future by teaching them to navigate and research!
