My Project

I plan to use the kind block for restorative groups, the fidgets for students w/ ADHD and anxiety, and the couch for calming rest breaks. The card games help increase social skills by taking turns and remembering the rules. It is important to keep all materials clean so we do not spread germs.

My goal with this project is to give them a space to feel safe communicating, learn social skills, and calm themselves before the storm.

My students are special in many different ways, but what stands out the most is their desire to be better. I want to help them be better academically, socially, and emotionally. By giving them this opportunity to grow in a safe space we are building their confidence, courage, and vocabulary when they operate in the space of others.
