Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This laptop will make a difference in my students' daily lessons. Learning is now based on technology with our new students transferring in and not able to speak the language, My special needs students will learn to navigate websites, Google Drive, use voice notes to help with writing, and learn how to communicate via digitally.

There is a huge technology shortage in our schools despite the ever-growing need to use technology.

This laptop will surely help boost my special needs students' and my (ELL)English Language Learners confidence by giving them a level of comfort they do not have. These skills are important to learning and will help them succeed in life.
