This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have a love for Math like no other! I keep trying to find new material to push them mentally. I use many different teaching material and methods, such as small group, partners, individual competitions, rewards based challenges, etc.
If each student were to have their own Math Workbook I would use it alongside the giant Connect Four game to team up the students with problem solutions and if you get the answer correct you drop a piece.
This strategy can encourage hardwork, teamwork, academic growth, tied in with some healthy competition. I know my students would love learning math and playing a classic game of Connect Four!
