My Students

My students were once identified by a previous administrator as "dying on the vine." Their particular demographic automatically places them within "at-risk" categories. But what people do not see that faculty and staff at my school see every day, is the hard work and dedication that my students possess. They possess perseverance to continue on when time after time they are doubted! They possess good hearts that care deeply about not only their academics but arts, classmates, music, sports as well!

My Project

My students need to be able to work with material and know their level of understanding at all times. The Hot Dots Pens and cards will help my students determine their level of understanding in a fun and concise manner. Students will immediately obtain feedback from the talking pen when they select the best answer. If their answer is correct, it helps celebrate their success. If their answer is incorrect, it helps gently correct them which I believe will encourage them to analyze answer choices and work even harder to arrive at the right answer. I believe Hot Dots will inevitably lead to academic success by giving my students encouraging and valuable feedback.
