For a few years I have wanted to have a giant Connect 4 game in my classroom. At first I thought it would be great to have this for those days you just need to get outside and do something different and fun together. Since then I have thought of so many ways it can be used in the classroom. I can see using this for team building experiences at the first of the year. I can see using this for reviews. I can see using this to get conversations and discussions started. I can see using this to motivate students to practice long division (because no fifth grader loves that!). I can see using this as a class reward. I can see using this to get kids to connect with each other. The possibilities are endless.
Getting this giant Connect 4 for my classroom would be a dream come true!
The more I think about having this in the classroom, the more I feel it is a necessity!
