My students need 6 iPads and cases to help prepare them for their future jobs. The students will use these iPads to Skype different people across the world, research, and create videos about what they have learned!

My Students

My classroom is a safe place where students learn to be future successful citizens of the community. My students come from many different backgrounds and some do not have the best home life. The students come to my classroom and give their best effort despite what they may be going through at home. I encourage my students to work collaboratively to solve problems and learn what it is like to be a part of a team of actively engaged learners.

The students in my classroom are being prepared for the ever changing world.

They are learning 21st century skills in the classroom to be prepared for a job, which may not even be in existence yet. By using DonorsChoose; I am hoping to gain more materials and resources to let the students have experiences with different kinds of technology.

My Project

The world is changing at a fast pace and my students will use the iPads to keep up with the ever changing world around them. The students will be learning about different parts of the world by Skyping other people and learning about their world! The students will also learn science, math, reading, and language arts from the different apps available to them on the iPads.

Our classroom focuses on collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking, and the iPads will be an excellent tool for my students to work on those skills.

The world will be at their finger tips to explore (with teacher approval) and prepare them for their future job. Our school district is not able to provide my students with updated technology, but with your donation you will be helping students gain the necessary 21st century skills needed for their future.
