Congas and Accssories Needed to Rock Out in Concert Band
My students need a set of congas for the jazz band and concert band. We also need a new guitar case for the sweet new bass we got through donors choose.

My Students
Help my students rock out! My concert band and jazz band are short on some instruments that we need to play more multicultural music. A set of congas is exactly what I need!
My students come from all over Southern California, and the school represents about 100 zip codes.
There students who are bused more than an hour to attend out school. One of the highlights at our school is the large and excellent music program. More than 1/3 of the school participates in the music program.
My Project
If we were to get a set of congas both the jazz band and the 5 concert band at the school would be able to play a wider variety of music. We would be able to play a more multicultural collection of music and we would be able to expose students to a wider variety of music.
It is important for students to be exposed to music and not just Western Classical music but music from many different backgrounds.
We also need some accessories for the students to be able to store instruments in cases and to be able to play trombones we already have.
