Confident and Connected in Uniform

Help me give my students khaki uniform pants and pink polo-style shirts so they can attend school with confidence, meet dress code expectations, and stay focused on learning.

My Project

Our school is a 6–12 all-girls public school where students lead with confidence and strive for academic and personal excellence. Many of our young leaders come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, yet they show up each day with resilience, determination, and pride.

As a Title I school, we provide an empowering and nurturing environment, but many families struggle to afford the proper school uniform.

When students have access to uniforms that fit and feel good, it boosts their confidence, helps them meet expectations, and allows them to focus on learning, not worrying about what they’re wearing.

This project will provide khaki pants and pink polo-style shirts, the standard uniform at our school. Having a full and proper uniform helps students feel connected to the school community and meet dress code expectations without added stress or embarrassment.

By providing uniforms, we're not just meeting a physical need; we're affirming their sense of belonging and showing them that they deserve to be their best selves every day.

Uniforms are more than just clothing—they are a symbol of equality, structure, and identity within our school community. With your help, our girls will walk into the classroom with dignity, free from judgment or distractions related to appearance. They’ll know someone believes in them.
