This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to PE ready to move, grow, and shine—but for many of them, staying fresh and confident throughout the day is a challenge. As their PE teacher, I want to support their physical health and their social-emotional wellbeing. That’s why I’m requesting travel-size deodorant for our students to use as needed.
Many of our students are beginning puberty and may not have access to hygiene products at home.
By making deodorant accessible, we can help students feel more comfortable, confident, and focused on learning instead of worrying about body odor.
This project will provide 72 sticks of Degree Travel Deodorant—individually packaged in student-friendly 0.5 oz sizes. These mini deodorants will be available discreetly, so students can grab one when needed.
Good hygiene supports physical health, prevents embarrassment, and promotes a positive self-image—especially during the vulnerable pre-teen years. This small but essential item can make a big difference in a student’s day. Whether they’re running laps, dancing in PE, or walking into their next class, they’ll carry themselves with more confidence knowing they’re fresh and cared for.
Your support means our students can focus on what really matters: learning, growing, and having fun in PE!
