My Project
Think back to when you were in middle school. The pressure of looking your best while still trying to figure out what is your best. Sometimes there were days you may have had a crazy hair day or some hygiene problems going on that you did not understand yet. This may have caused your middle school mind to think that everyone was whispering behind your back. This makes it hard to focus on class, to study, and to interact with friends. Now, after thinking back on the one time this may have happened to you, what is something you wish you had to avoid this middle school crisis?
Exactly, a social worker who had a closet filled with hair supplies and hygiene products!
Our kiddos come to school every day with a lot of weight on their shoulders. I would like to provide the students with a boost of confidence when entering the school. This may be something as simple as a headband or someone to tell them," You got this!" Middle school is the time when adolescents are trying to discover their style and become more independent in the mornings. This may cause them to forget to put on deodorant or they may not have time to do their hair.
Please help me provide my kiddos with a boost of confidence on the days they may need a little extra TLC.
