My Students

My special needs students in Dayton, Ohio are the perfect example of persistence. They never complain about where they come from or the struggles they may have in the classroom. They are always willing to come in with a smile on their faces in the morning, eager to learn something new.

My students love to learn about the world around them and how they fit into it.

With many coming from the lowest income homes in the region, their education is even more important. Most of my students don't have access to what we have at school and are in awe of the technology that is available to them.

Any consideration would be very much appreciated and would go toward educating some of the most disadvantaged students in our area.

My Project

Action Magazine gives my reluctant readers a chance to engage in real-world magazine articles that open their eyes to the world around them. These magazines are written at varying levels to allow each of them to participate no matter what their reading abilities may be.

My student love learning about their world and how it relates to them.

These magazines will help open the door to that and much more by giving them the opportunity to read and listen to stories based on the world they are living in.

This magazine also includes many online resources that allows the students to further enhance their learning.
