My Students
I love to share a world that is greater than my students. Our lessons allow students to become more familiar with not only with languages different from their own but also cultures and people. Sharing authentic images, videos, and media are difficult without a laptop with the latest technology.
Our students study a rigorous conservatory curriculum and are internationally renowned dancers, singers, actors, artists, musicians, and all the roles behind the scenes which support artists.
Students are interested in discovering historical significance of pieces affecting their art as well as the current events which inform both artists, performers and writers.
My Project
Making connections between art, our lessons and the Spanish speaking world is key to enlightening students about our global impact. Our students can view, investigate, hear, critique, explore, share, and analyze countries in Latin America, Europe, and Africa with the help of this technology.
I believe this technology will help inspire students through their chosen talent to learn more about Spanish speaking culture and peoples.
It's up to me, as their teacher, to connect them with websites, videos, news, and other media to do just that. This laptop is perfect for promoting this exchange. I look forward to using it to give students a connection to lives and experiences they've never known before.
