The music students at our high school have been changed by their music program. Our ensemble rooms are places of connection and belonging. These students take care of each other and believe in their ability to succeed together.
Our music students work hard to achieve their high level of performance.
They express themselves through wind, string and percussion instruments. They are an amazing demonstration of commitment and passion, and the positive outlet the arts can provide for young people.
My Project
The stereo cabinet will create a safe and secure place to keep a sound system for the instrumental ensemble room. We have not had a stereo in the band room in years! It will be so helpful to be able to play recordings to our music students! The podium will provide our conductors with a little more height - just what we need when the whole concert band fills our room. This will allow for better visual communication with the conductor and within the ensemble.
These are big ticket items that the students in our music programs will use for years to come!
Audio and visual communication are such vital parts of learning to play in a music ensemble, and are important social skills they will use for the rest of their lives. Thank you for providing our students with the equipment they need!
