This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Es triste ver la carencia de materiales en los salones de clases. Soy fiel creyente de que en matemáticas, tener fotocopias a color, imágenes que el estudiante pueda comprender y tener pegado en sus libretas, ayuda a la comprensión del material. Mis estudiantes necesitan sus tareas impresas (NO dedicar tiempo a copiar los ejercicios para después contestar) ya que no cuentan con manuales de ejercicios. También papel blanco para realizar sus cálculos y otros tipos para utilizar su creatividad y mejorar el aprendizaje.

¡Las pizarras individuales y calculadoras, ayudarán a tener una enseñanza más individualizada y diferenciada!

Tener donde guardar sus tareas sin que se dañen con la humedad, porque la escuela es en área sumamente alta y húmeda. Tener donde conectar sus cargadores para las computadoras ya que el salón no tiene los suficientes. Son tantas las cosas que necesitan, pero con estos materiales, seguimos dando el apoyo a una educación de calidad y gratuita para ellos.

Con mi proyecto yo quiero dejarle saber a mis estudiantes que hay personas que se preocupan porque tengan una educación de calidad. Un salón que cuente con materiales para ellos. Un salón que además de ser su lugar de paz, sea su lugar donde quieren aprender matemáticas.
