Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Technology can be somewhat overwhelming for some adults today. Many of us stay in a constant love-hate relationship with or an all out fear of things considered to be tools of advancement. This is not usually the case with young people, however. The fact is, for entertainment, they most often gravitate to devices that have more computing power than most desktops did just a few years prior.

In addition to Social Studies/ELA, I intend to work directly with my students in an effort to improve their understanding of computers and how to best stay responsible while using them.

We will cover everything from components to codings, Tynker to tamper, and many other issues in between.
