Help me give my students a digital whiteboard space that interacts with google meets live. Computer Science in remote learning needs many unplugged supports/activities and chances for diagramming for helping build conceptual understandings. Thanks for the consideration.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
At South Bronx Preparatory, a New York City Public school in the Bronx, I teach AP Computer Science and Intro to programming to high school seniors. My students have responded really well to the curriculum and we have increased our level of participation in these courses over the last 4 years.
In my AP CS course last year, we doubled enrollment to two full sections.
Seeing people that my students can connect with represented in my physical classroom space and curriculum is key. Last year we celebrated that 66% of my students who took my AP CS class identify as female, 71% identify as Hispanic/Latinex, 26% identify as black, and 3% identify as asian. In my curriculum, we are focusing on social justice in Tech, what it means to be a digital citizen and what the inalienable rights of digital citizens should be.
In my Intro to programming elective, my students learn JavaScript and how to draw and animate on the computer, culminating in an animated short film festival, in the winter. My students also learn HTML & CSS in the Spring and create dynamic web-pages using adobe creative suite and other web builders.
My Project
These materials will truly enhance my remote classroom space and integrate perfectly with my school platforms using google meets and google classroom. They will enable me to support all learners and provide clearer understandings around major CS concepts, and encourage the importance of diagramming when designing/building and debugging programs.
This iPad and Apple Pencil will help integrate a droid based whiteboard, using the Notability app, within google Meets for my computer science classes.
These tools will allow me to live diagram with students and better support the building of conceptual understandings. I refer to my students recyclable note-taking work space as "keys to success." These tools will be a game changer for my students, as they will enable me to model thought process and diagramming when programming. Using a wide range of colors and visuals to provide secondary supports to ensure all my learners thrive by addressing multiple modalities will also be a major benefit of these tools. This will also give me the ability to elicit live feedback from students and map out our collective thinking and structures to help better prepare us for the AP CS test and get us all ready for college and career. Thank you so much in advance for your consideration.
