Help me give my students yoga balls to sit on, that won't roll away. Stacking chairs for students who need to be stable. Computer mice so that they can complete assignments with ease!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Sixth grade is such an exciting time for middle school students. I want my classroom to be able to help their many different learning styles and giving them the freedom to sit where they learn best is just a start! So far we have high tables with bar stools where students are able to stand if they wish. Eight tables that were donated through DonorsChoose.org with flexible seating to match! Students have the choice of regular chairs, stools, or low back chairs. We also still have some regular student desks where the chairs are attached to the desk.
Please help our classroom become an even more enriching learning environment!
My Project
We have successfully funded new desks for my classroom! Now, I would like to go one step further and give them truly flexible seating. I am asking for a sixpack of yoga balls, with legs, so that they won't roll away. I am also asking for a few more stacking chairs as well as a class set of computer mice so that students can easily use their Chromebooks. (touchpads are tricky for some assignments)
Please give as much or as little as you feel comfortable giving, my students already appreciate this space so much!
