Help me give my students headphones to use with their devices. Our goal is to have a calm/quiet testing environment. Dry erase markers are used every day in so many ways.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This is my first year working as a kindergarten teacher in OKC public schools. My students are always so happy to come to the classroom every morning.
I have noticed through my lessons with them that these students learn best with manipulatives in hand.
Although we learn together, my students are at different levels of learning. I have some students who are readers, and some are still learning letters and sounds. I have some students who are beginning to add/subtract while others have just began to compare numbers. With that being said, I try to hold several small group learning sessions during the day to meet children where they are.
My class loves calendar time, counting out loud, center work, using different writing materials, listening to stories, and going outside, and they always look forward to snack time. The items I selected for this project are things that I think will benefit their learning even more while also making it fun.
My Project
Remember going to computer lab in school? That was a fun class! In computer lab, you would wear headphones, get in the zone, and practice skills you have been learning. I also remember all the head lice outbreaks being blamed on sharing headphones in computer lab.
No longer do we have computer lab at our school or problem of sharing headphones.
But we sort of have created our own "computer lab" in the classroom with student devices (iPads). Every day, we spend 30 min on math and reading programs to practice skills we have been learning. We are even required to test them once a month in both reading and math on the iPads.
Our goal is, of course, for the students to progress, so I feel like my class needs a better testing and working environment during our iPad time. Having a good set of headphones will bring that computer lab feel into my classroom. I am eager to see their progress from the better concentration that the headphones will provide.
