My Students

My students need your assistance! Our school is a high poverty, inner city Title 1 funded school whose students have limited access to technology. In other words, if it is not provided by the school, children will not have the opportunity to engage in computers.

Our school has approximately 350 students enrolled.

We are a Title 1 school. 93% of our students live in poverty. Our school is a high poverty, inner city Title 1 funded school, whose students have limited access to technology and experiences. Our students work hard to create a better life for themselves. It is important that our students are constantly connected to technology. Each student visits the computer lab 2 times a week. Some students use the lab everyday if their program requires it. Our students do not have access to computers at home. Our students are fascinated by technology. One could say, our students respond to computer instruction better than most children that are surrounded by computers at home. It is important that children grow in a technology world, as most of our society is surrounded by it. Please enter the word SPARK in the promo code box at checkout. My Project

The computer lab is in desperate need of headphones. By receiving these headphones, our students will be able to complete educational programs and class projects. Students will be able to connect to technology and grow as our society is now expected to. We very few working sets of headphones in our lab for the available computers. Many programs require the student to respond to a verbal question or provides verbal instruction. We use many different educational software that focus on math, reading and typing. We are requesting wireless headphones because they are less likely to be broken at the cord, like most of our current ones have been. We would like headphones that will make it through a couple years, instead of a couple of weeks. Students will use these headphones about two times a week. Some use the computers everyday. Students will be able to listen to the computer program they are using and they will be able to complete the program efficiently.
