Computer for School Social Worker

Help me give my students a computer to address their social emotional needs. This computer will serve as a counseling resource.

My Project

With this computer, I will be able to work effectively with my students. I am the school social worker and I help provide the needs of my students with special education services, social emotional learning well being and special programs. I also serve as the school yoga instructor and cheerleading coach.

Everyday it is my passion to provide my students with the support that they need.

My students will be able to use technology when they come for their counseling sessions. I will be able to implement other methods of communication and enhance the experience for my students.

Students will have the ability to use the computer as a learning, counseling and social emotional resource. Students will use the computer as a journal to express their true feelings. Coming from the pandemic, I notice that many of our students prefer to express themselves using devices rather than writing. I want to meet my students where they are.
