Children in today's digital world are motivated by visual learning. What better way to entice kids to learn than to use technology as a tool? I teach computers to close to 450 students a week in grades two to five. My students come from a variety of abilities, including Special Education, Inclusion, ESL, Gifted, and of course, general education.
Currenly we have limited reference resources in our computer laboratory. My students create beautiful projects, however there is so much that can be done on Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and we have a limited amount of lessons and reference books to create very individual and authentic projects. Each child has their own ideas of how they want their projects to look like. The books will allow the students to individually explore the various aspects of Photoshop and Illustrator and create their own vision of their projects.
Having a library of computer reference books will allow my students the flexibility and creativity to complete projects that have their own individual touch. The books will also give me ideas for more in-depth lessons using these programs.
You will make it possible for us to create some of the following projects using the reference books:

My students will work with partners to take
