This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students are learning about the importance and need for graphic designer and digital artists in the community and world. Student have been learning about the digital photo editing platform, Adobe Photoshop. The students are currently at the beginning stages and process for learning all the functions and tools however, this project could motivate them. In order to inspire creativity and excitement, I have the students designing their own product "mockup" of a Compact Disc Case and CD sticker. Students are very excited to demonstrate what they've learned and show their skills and unique ability and personalities.
Students are also so excited to have their tangible works of art and creations to bring home to share their successes.
