Help me give my students the opportunity to build their own high-performance PCs by funding our Computer Adventure Assembly Camp, providing free access for more students to learn hands-on computer assembly and hardware skills for a second year.

My Project
The items we’re requesting will provide students with the hands-on experience of building a fully functional PC from individual components. Many of our students have never had access to a home computer, let alone the opportunity to explore its inner workings. By assembling their own high-performance, liquid-cooled PCs, they will gain technical skills, problem-solving experience, and confidence in working with technology—skills that are increasingly valuable in today’s world.
Our goal for this project is to break down barriers to STEM learning by offering students the chance to learn about computer hardware and assembly at no cost.
By expanding our Computer Adventure Assembly Camp, we can reach more students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to engage with this kind of hands-on technology education. We aim to inspire curiosity, build practical skills, and foster an interest in technology and engineering fields.
What makes our students special is their eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges. They come from diverse backgrounds, and for many, this camp is their first exposure to computer hardware. Last year, students who started without knowing a motherboard from a power supply finished with the confidence to build a working PC. Their determination, enthusiasm, and ability to rise to the challenge make this project incredibly rewarding. By supporting this initiative, you’re giving them a unique opportunity to explore technology in a way that could shape their futures.
