This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help provide my students with access to high-quality reading comprehension instruction, as it has the potential to greatly benefit my students' reading comprehension skills. The Primary Comprehension Toolkit is a comprehensive program designed to support the development of students' comprehension skills across a variety of genres and text types.
By using this toolkit, my students will have access to a range of instructional resources that are specifically designed to help them develop the critical thinking skills necessary to comprehend complex texts.
These resources include interactive activities, graphic organizers, and leveled reading passages, which will help my students build their vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills.
Furthermore, the Primary Comprehension Toolkit includes teacher guides and professional development resources, which will enable me to effectively integrate the program into my classroom instruction. This will allow me to provide targeted instruction and support to my students, helping them to make meaningful connections between what they are reading and their own experiences and prior knowledge.
Overall, the Primary Comprehension Toolkit has the potential to make a significant impact on my students' reading comprehension skills. By providing them with the tools and strategies they need to become proficient readers, I believe this program will help my students develop a lifelong love of reading and learning.
