My students are struggling with reading fluency and receive small group intervention services to help them to improve in this area. Due to the lost learning from the pandemic, students are struggling to catch up. These materials will help students build their foundational reading skills so that they can be more successful in the classroom and improve their reading.
Students love engaging, fun, educational games where they can learn and have fun at the same time.
I want to make the time we have together change their learning experience and help them love to read. By eliminating the need to stop and decode sight words, readers are able to focus on words that are less familiar and more difficult. And teaching sight words not only helps students read more fluently but also helps them write more efficiently too. I am requesting a TPT gift card to purchase supplies to help us achieve this goal.
