My Project

I am seeking support to purchase an annual subscription for high-quality speech and language therapy materials to be used with my students in grades 4-8 at our Title I NYC Public school, where many students come from low-income backgrounds. By obtaining a subscription for these resources, I aim to make a significant impact on my students' speech and language development journey.

Our school is a Title I NYC Public school and the majority of our students come from low-income backgrounds and receive free breakfast and lunch everyday.

The curated materials are designed to engage students and enhance their skills in articulation, vocabulary development, comprehension, and pragmatic skills, addressing common IEP goals seen in students of these grade levels. These resources not only pique students' interest but also save valuable time for teachers with individualized and adaptable materials. Using these interactive resources promotes active participation and enables me to track students' progress, ultimately facilitating data-driven decision-making, and ensuring differentiated support for each student's unique needs.

This comprehensive approach not only fosters academic growth but also builds students' confidence in their communication skills, positively impacting their overall academic and social experiences.
