Composting to a Greener Pre-K Classroom!

Help me give my students composting machine to reduce food waste in our classroom.

My Project

I am requesting for a compost machine for our pre-k classroom. We eat 3 meals a day right in our classroom and everyday, I watch my little 4 year olds toss their food scraps right into the garbage.

I would love to have a composter to show how we can reuse the food scrap wastes and turn it into food for our soil.

One of my goals in science this year is to encourage students to think about how they can positively impact the earth, reduce waste, and to consider practical ways to reduce our contribution to pollution.
