Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students care about their friends and community. Like all students, they love taking part in events and parties. This year, students at our school finally launched a composting program during lunch.

Students want to take care of their community and their environment.

Making it easy to make the right choice helps everyone. Much like adults, when making the right choice is easy for students, they are more likely to do it.

Parties and events are an intrinsic part of growing up. I do not know specifically what event these supplies Perk Compostable Paper Hot Cups, Dixie Compostable Bamboo Forks, Perk Eco Compostable Paper Plates, Clorox Free & Clear Compostable Cleaning Wipes, and Perk Eco Compostable Paper Bowls will be used for, but making sustainable options available to students definitely will help them continue to take responsibility for their community.
