My students come from very diverse backgrounds, and each has their own obstacles that they are trying to overcome. Even though I teach 5th and 6th grade, my students' abilities range from 1st to 6th grade.

A new compost would make this possible!
My Project
Our class needs a new compost bin. The years have taken a toll on ours! We are trying to teach our students how easy it is to give back to our environment. This is a tool that students can take with them as they grow! Our students are the future.
There are so many ways that we can give back to the environment and teach our students how some waste can be turned into something amazing!
We hope that the addition of this new compost will allow us to do our part.
