With alternate seating and additional materials for learning, our students will be able to better engage in centers and have the freedom to move and not feel confined to their chair. It is easier for students without disabilities to learn in an environment that is set up in a more traditional way. As a teacher of students with disabilities, I know that my students would be able to focus more on their learning if given the options for a more comfortable setting and with more hands on activities. Our goal is to provide the optimum area for our student with special needs.
