My Project

My scholars are fun, smart and friendly. The books we are requesting have been carefully selected for their ability to teach my students compassion, and to reflect a diverse range of voices and perspectives.

Books help to build empathy and compassion in students by sharing the stories of others.

These books are all tools for social emotional learning with themes of healthy relationships, bullying, perspective taking, and respect for others.

The books in this project make it easier to celebrate differences and the importance of caring for others.

The books will give my students the opportunity to experience how compassion and empathy for others can make the world a better place.

Scholars will use the cards to write positive notes to each other.
