This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school promotes social emotional learning daily. It is important for students to learn how to explore and understand their own emotions through story telling or plays. We have circle time once a week. It is a way to foster social development in young children. By engaging in group activities and sharing experiences with others, students learn essential communication and teamwork skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.

We will need wobble chairs to give students seating options to sit comfortably to share their stories or express their feelings.

Students can also use the fidget toys to help express their feelings when needed. This will allow them to explore and understand their own emotions. In addition, circle time also helps children develop oral language skills.
