My Project
Each year, I take my students outside and use our custodian's brooms and shovels and do some community service. We are wearing them out. Students love to go outside and sweep and shovel garbage, rocks and other messes at our school.
I am always surprised how much our students love to help keep our school clean.
We have lots of pea gravel in our playground and it just gets everywhere but our students are always willing to step up and help out. It's also a great workout for their cardiovascular system.
When people ask what they are doing, they're fast to reply, "Community Service!" "We're helping our school!" "We love our school!"
So please help us out and support some new brooms and shovels.
