Community Service Projects Benefiting Hospitalized Kids & Seniors in Nursing Homes
Help me give my students supplies for our Community Service Projects so they can create holiday cards and window suncatchers for kids in hospitals, seniors in nursing homes, and veterans in VA hospitals.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are excited to participate in community service projects that help people who need their spirts uplifted.
I want my students to have fun while completing meaningful projects that help my students learn about giving back to the community and having compassion for others in unfortunate situations.
With these supplies, we will be able to make a whole variety of holidays cards and window suncatchers to send to kids in hospitals, seniors in nursing homes, and veterans in VA hospitals. The transparencies will be used along with paint we have to make the suncatchers. The cardstock paper and paper slicer will be used to make the cards along with all the markers and the pencil sharpener will be used for color pencils we have. The stickers will be given out to students who participate and also given with the cards to kids in the hospitals and seniors in the nursing homes.
The students will be volunteering to create these during their lunch period, after-school and at home.
