Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to create a shared pantry for not just those in my classroom, but to reach other students in the school and community. I have been personally supplying a smaller version of this myself over the years and it has been getting more expensive.
With your help, I can enlarge this shared pantry with breakfast foods, lunch snacks, and treats to reach more students for this school year.
Students are not successful if their needs are not being met and a big one seen in a low-income community is students feeling hungry. My goal is to reach more students by having this pantry fully stocked and items they may need readily available all throughout the year. My smaller pantry has reached many students for many years and I would love to be able to continue doing so for years to come.
