My Project
Help me give my students a Community Care Closet where they will have a place to look for personal care items, hygiene items, hair ties, tissues, cough drops, bandaids, disposable face masks, etc.
When a young person has the personal care products they need, it is one less thing for them to worry about and they can concentrate on school.
Our Care Closet will be students' place for their everyday needs. Such as personal hygiene items when they forget to bring them to school, cough drops or tissues when they are feeling under the weather or other items to help them feel cared for and supported in my classroom.
With your support, I will be able to fulfill my dream of having a caring classroom community simply by having personal care items available for students to access at any time.
Students tend to perform better if they are comfortable in their own skin. This will allow them to be more confident when they attend school each day.
