My Project

Our class starts every morning by meeting together to help build connections between students and learn social emotional skills. We have an activity and a discussion based on a book. Sometimes the book has a moral or lesson, sometimes the book teaches a skill, and sometimes the book is silly and brings us together through laughter.

This is my students favorite part of the day!

We don't have enough good books to make it through the entire year, but with this project we would be closer! The books in this project would help to spark conversation, social skill lessons, and connection in our classroom.
