Our classroom uses technology during class and after-school. The right equipment creates confident students who are able to plan, develop and build creative projects.
My middle school students enjoy working with technology to create stories and projects that they can share with others.
Our school has many students who do not have access to technology at home and our school provides a place for hands-on development of 21st Century skills. We strive to integrate extra-curricular activities that help students develop their talents.
My Project
Students will use the requested microphones, photo scanner and durable HD video recorder as part of the Yearbook club as well as in the classroom. Students develop projects 3x per year that highlight social justice issues and technology gives them the ability to tell their story and communicate ideas effectively.
These items will improve my classroom because it will give students the opportunity to create meaningful projects that have a polished and professional look.
Developing student pride in their work is just one aspect of the character-building we hope to accomplish in the classroom.
