My Project

I teach in a center based autism classroom. The majority of my students use alternative communication devices to communicate. I am requesting an iPad to model and encourage student use throughout the day to help my students expand their language. Students will benefit from the "I do, we do, you do" approach.

My students are unique in that they spend the majority of their day in our classroom.

The majority are non-verbal communicators and rely on gestures, signs, and vocalization along with their AAC device.

This is my second year teaching in a center based classroom and I would be so grateful for the opportunity to work along-side my students to expand their communication.
