This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Communicating with students and parents can be very challenging, and the Pocket Talk Pro Voice Translator would allow for open and easy communication in an instant. This device could be used by parents, students, or teachers/school staff.
Calling a parent to quickly inform them of missing assignments or excellent work by their child would be so much more accessible when interpreters might not be available.
There have been many times that I would like to call a parent but cannot due to a language barrier that requires a Spanish-speaking staff member, and I would have to wait or try to speak in limited Spanish.
