My Students

My elementary school serves students ranging in grades Pre-K through 4th grade. My first grade classroom is filled with 20 energetic, fun-loving, curious "tiny humans." They make me chuckle every single day.

My students continuously overcome obstacles thrown at them each and every day, and still always surprise me with their eagerness and readiness to learn.

They come to school each day with a smile, a hug, and a laugh.

I feel very lucky to be teaching these students, and even luckier that I can experience everything that they end up teaching me!

My Project

My students are at an age where it is important to teach independence skills. This includes organization, time-management, and self-direction.

Having this requested Classic Birch Sign-In Communication Station will help foster these skills in students for years to come.

Students can use this stand to organize their own work, sign in to school for the day, and check upcoming events. This will help get them ready for their school day and set them up for academic and emotional success. Having their own space to store their hard work will alleviate stress and help them learn to be responsible.

This organization will help with school-to-home communication with caregivers as well. Important notices will be more accessible to be sent home in a timely manner. School-to-home communication will improve greatly.
