My Students

My students range from Preschool to Kindergarten and they all receive speech and language services. Many of my students struggle to express their ideas and thoughts. As their speech language pathologist, I help my student increase their functional communication, articulation, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and social skills. These skills help them to communicate their wants, needs, ideas, thoughts, and feelings which they may not be able to do otherwise.

Every one deserves to be heard!

Many of the skills and strategies that I teach foster students to become self-learners and understand the world around them so they can be active participants in school and their futures.

My Project

These materials will help my students achieve their speech and language goals. This project will make it possible to help foster literacy and language in a fun and exciting way. When students can build their vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, articulation, and social skills in a natural environment they can learn to generalize skills more effectively.

Learning from books, games, language-based activities, and using hands on manipulatives is motiving and engaging for students.

Due to the pandemic, many of my students are lacking in exposure to language and opportunities to use social skills. This project will make communication fun and meaningful!
