This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm a speech therapist working with students in an elementary school! My students have a variety of communication disorders and needs for support.

I'm working to support my students' success by helping them find a way to communicate and connect with others.

Everyone has a desire to communicate and connect and they should not be left out!

In order to communicate, many of my students require support by using methods of alternative and augmentative communication. I'm requesting an iPad to provide one such method of communication! They will be able to use the device to communicate their message to people in their school community.
