This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hi! My name is Ms. Hernandez, I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist that works with primarily Prek-2nd grade students. Many of my students are minimally verbal, non-speaking, or have severe speech sound disorders that make them difficult to understand. Many of my students require augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) or other visual supports to communicate and help their voices be heard/understood. This often requires a lot of prep work, but it can be difficult when we don't have access to colored printing readily available at our schools. Help me give my students colorful copies of communication books, visual schedules, and more by having an in-clas colored printer!
